June Update
OK so back from our holidays and work has gone bananas with all the new SEO work I’ve been doing. I am thinking now I am going to engage a professional to set this up for me because as much as I would love to get immersed in the project I am working 8am-llpm pretty much every day burning electricity to make money and that doesn’t leave much time to spend on a project to make electricity!
I suppose this is the big problem of the world in that whilst you are earning money the cost of buying power is never really an issue, it’s later when the cost of producing that power is paid in environmental terms that we will all HAVE to spend time looking at other ways of creating the power.
I watched that terrific new movie/documentary Home the other day and was moved considerably. Do you know that in Dubai where the sun shines all the time, they do not have hardly any solar panels at all because it is basically the epitome of wealth. Do you know 80% of the worlds resources are consumed by 20% of the population, and Dubai is a shining example of that statistic.
It occurred to me that really wealth folk ought to have to invest in alternative environmental systems to provide for their own energy consumption, whereby instead of giving money to charities or the tax collectors they could be given a tax break for buying a solar power system for each of their properties, converting their vehicles to run on hydrogen, erecting wind turbines, etc, etc with the ultimate goal of spending some of their millions on ensuring they do not use ANY non-renewable energy sources.
Now is that the idea of the century or what?
The movie Home is actually available to view on youtube in HD, watch it here there is some of the most amazing photography I have ever seen and the facts they present are very eye opening.
This should be essential viewing for every man, woman and child on the planet.
